What is Warrior Care? Warrior Care is a free medical telehealth service for all SAGU AIC students to help with their physical and mental health needs. Warrior Care is a campus-wide program offering students around the clock access – anywhere in the United States – to get quality care and immediate treatment for medical or mental health concerns from board certified physicians and licensed counselors. This service is available through the TimelyCare app. Students can see a doctor virtually or even see a couselor for matters related to mental health care. Access care from anywhere, even in bed in your dorm room, on vacation,  or at home for breaks throughout the year. There is no wait time to see a physician or mental health provider. The physician or mental health provider works around your schedule and prescriptions are available if deemed appropriate by the provider.

What does Warrior Care cover? Warrior Care includes 24/7 medical visits, TalkNow visits (24/7 mental health support), scheduled counseling visits (12 per year), psychiatry visits (with campus counseling referral), and health coaching visits. All are available at no cost to SAGU AIC students. The physicians, counselors and health coaches can treat/discuss a wide range of common conditions, and after talking to you, will decide on the best course of treatment. Some common conditions/topics are: cold, sinus infection, infuenza (fu), stress and anxiety, relationships, depression nutrition, and healthy lifestyle.

Where can I find more information? Any illness is to be reported to the Resident Assistant and/or the Resident Directors who will help give guidance to the student regarding care and/or referrals to local health care agencies. For any questions related to Warrior Care, please contact SAGU AIC Vice President for Student Development, Joel Cornelius at [email protected] or the University’s Vice President for Student Development, Terry Phipps at [email protected].

How do I access Warrior Care? You can access Warrior Care (and get the smart phone app) through Timely MD at https://timely.md/faq/sagu-care-faq/
