Dr. Saggio Named Omicron Alpha “Outstanding Administrator”

Dr. Joseph J. Saggio, long-time US missionary educator at SAGU American Indian College has been selected by SAGU’s President, Dr. Kermit Bridges to receive the Omicron Alpha “Outstanding Administrator” award given by the General Council of the Assemblies of God Commission on Higher Education at their meeting to be held in Columbus, Ohio on August 5 & 6. The Omicron Alpha Award is the highest award given to AG college and university administrators within the Assemblies of God.

Dr. Saggio, has served in a number of different roles at SAGU AIC since 1994 including Executive Vice-President and Administrative Dean. Presently Dr. Saggio is Professor Emeritus teaching in Bible, Theology, and Missions History. He is a regular contributor to publications in Missions History and Higher Education. He has also presented at academic and professional conferences in the United States and Canada.
