On March 18, 2024, SAGU American Indian College will be hosting the Ensure Justice Conference — AZ Tribal Nations. The event will take place in coordination with the Global Center for Women and Justice (Vanguard University of Southern California). Don’t miss it! The event will be hosted by Matthew Holgate, Director of Student Engagement at SAGU AIC and Dr. Sandra Morgan, the Director of the Global Center for Women and Justice, where she serves as Professor of Women’s Studies. They will be joined by a team of experts on this topic who will be addressing Human Trafficking Prevention from the perspective of respective roles in the community. This year’s theme is “Hidden Things.” We will be discussing areas of things that may go unnoticed, not talked about, and even hidden from society in the workforces of clergy, educators, law enforcement, and social work. If you are an employee of any of these related areas or even a parent, this conference is for you as we all combat human trafficking and the protect the safety of our children.
