Saturday, May 29, 2021, a special banquet was hosted at Harvest Church in Glendale, Arizona, to honor Dr. David J. Moore and his wife Cheri for their twenty-seven years of service to SAGU American Indian College (1975-1994, 2013-2021). President Kermit S. Bridges, and several other visitors from the Waxahachie, Texas campus joined SAGU AIC personnel, Board members, alumni, family members of Dr. Moore, and the other VIP’s in a memorable evening that honored the tremendous contributions of the Moore’s over their many years of faithful service. Dr. Jonathan D. Gannon, newly elected President of SAGU AIC served as the evening’s host and MC.

The highlight of the evening included a special commemorative presentation including slides and music, a number of short speeches, and a message of appreciation from Dr. Moore, who was honored with the title of “President Emeritus” by the Board of Regents of SAGU. The Moore’s also received a well-deserved all expense paid cruise and a number of other gifts.
