Stephanie Graham Teacher of the YearSAGU AIC alumna Stephanie Graham was recently named Teacher of the Year for Life School in Lancaster, Texas. Graham graduated from SAGU AIC in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education.

Graham was selected by her peers out of 30 full-time teachers to receive the award. According to Graham, “God has given me the privilege to work with and learn from so many amazing teachers. I feel completely honored to get this opportunity every day to teach. To God be the glory!”

Her third year at Life School, Graham teaches fourth grade. “My favorite part of teaching is watching the growth of students in academics as well as their character,” Graham commented. “I can’t imagine another career that could be more rewarding!”

“My experience at SAGU AIC helped prepare me in many ways,” said Graham. “I had several professors who encouraged me to follow what I knew God had called me to do. I was challenged to develop my relationship with Christ and to see my classroom as a mission field and not just a job.”
