This past weekend the American Indian College completed a four game sweep of NCCAA opponent Bethesda University. Friday evenings game went into overtime and the Warriors prevailed 101-98. Four Warriors were in double figures, with the top three being Darren Jones (23 points), Angel Villa (17 points), and Quest Williams (16 points).

Saturday’s game was not close. The Warriors came out strong to push Bethesda away 94-73. The game was never in doubt. Richard Serrano led the way with 20 points and once again Darren Jones showed strong with 19 points.

The Warriors have a gap in this weeks schedule due to teams dealing with Covid, but return to action Feb 16 at home against cross town rival Benedictine. They finish up February 19-20 in Billings, Mt against Yellowstone Christian College.

The much improved Warriors, under first year head coach Robb Floco, now sport a 5-2 record in NCCAA play and 5-7 overall.
