What is the cost to attend AIC per year ? Answer: On Campus students: Approximately $10,000.00 (including room & board, tuition, fees, and estimated books)
Off Campus: Approximately $6,000.00 (tuition, fees, and estimated books, not including room & board)

Can I get financial aid if I'm eligible?
Answer: Financial assistance is available in the form of
grants, scholarships, employment opportunities, and loans. Eligible students
may also receive financial assistance from BIA and/or tribal scholarship programs.
Although some aid is awarded on a non-need basis, the majority of awards are
made to students who demonstrate financial need.

What is the spiritual atmosphere like at AIC?
Answer : Like all our AG schools, we encourage personal devotions,
which is the foundation of spiritual life. Attendance at all chapel services
and weekly dormitory devotions is required. We are Pentecostal in both belief
and practice and believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We also believe
that the gifts of the Spirit and the fruits of the Spirit should be operational
in a fully committed Christian life. Administration, faculty, and staff encourage
this in dorm life, ministry and classes.

Will my college credits transfer to AIC?
Answer: Each student's transcripts are considered on an individual
basis. The Registrar's office makes the final determination as to which courses
can be transferred into your program after conferring with department chairs
and the Academic Dean. Courses that you took at other colleges or universities
are examined to ensure that they meet program requirements and are from regionally-accredited
colleges or institutions. Courses from non-accredited institutions are considered
on a case-by-case basis. Only courses with grades of “C” or higher will transfer
into your program at AIC.

Is AIC just for Native Americans or are there other ethnic groups
represented as well? Answer: AIC's stated mission is “Equipping Native Americans
for Christian service, emphasizing Biblical truths and academic excellence
within a Christian community.” However, AIC warmly welcomes students of all
ethnicities who identify with our stated mission. At present we have a student
body of not only Native Americans representing 25 different tribes, but we
also have Hispanic, African-Americans, Anglos, and Filipinos represented within
our student body.

What type of sports activities do you have?
Answer: AIC does not presently have a formally organized
athletic program, but does provide opportunity for athletic activities such
as volleyball and basketball games in their full-sized Scott Gymnasium. Sports
activities include sports with various off-campus groups including churches
and alumni. The gym is open during the week and on weekends and is available
for basketball, volleyball, aerobics, and weight-lifting.

What is the student teacher ratio?
Answer: At present the ratio is one faculty member to eight students, which is a very low faculty to student ratio that ensures many opportunities for small class sizes and daily interaction with faculty members.

What degree programs does AIC offer?
Answer: AIC offers three degree programs:
A. A four-year Bachelor of Arts degree is offered in Christian Ministry with
the opportunity to choose one of the following concentrations in Intercultural
Ministries, Church Ministries, Christian Education and Youth, or Bible and
Theology.
B. A four-year Bachelor of Arts degree is offered in Elementary Education
that leads to K-8 certification in Arizona. (Students wishing to teach in other
states should check with that specific state's department of education requirements
for teaching in that state.)
C. A two-year Associate of Arts degree is offered in Business that provides
foundational training in the Business sector. Additionally, it provides the
necessary training required for those desiring to continue their education
and transfer into a Bachelor's degree program at another college or university.

Is AIC accredited ?
Answer: AIC is accredited with the Higher Learning Commission,
a Commision of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the regional-accrediting
body that serves this portion of the country. We are also approved by the Arizona
State Board for Private Postsecondary Education. Finally, AIC is an endorsed
college of the Commission of Christian Higher Education (COCHE) of the General
Council of the Assemblies of God.

Describe housing facilities and requirements to live on campus.
Are there housing facilities for married
students?
Answer: All full time single students are required to live
on campus.
The Student Life Committee must approve any exceptions. There are two residential
dormitories on campus: Washburn and Gannon. We do not have co-ed dorms. There
is also some limited housing for married students in our “Hosanna
House” complex located within easy walking distance from the College. We will
assist married students to find suitable housing in the vicinity should they
so desire.

Where is the College located in regards to employment opportunities,
shopping, and schooling for married student's children?
Answer: The college is located just a few minutes drive from
the Metro Center Mall. Many employment opportunities are available for the
student who is earnest in seeking them out with the many businesses in the
area. The city bus stops at the college's gates, providing ample transportation
throughout the city. The Washington School District services the children of
many of our students that live in the Hosanna House or in the close vicinity
of the college.

What is the teaching background and qualifications of the faculty?
Answer: All Christian Ministry faculty come to us with many years of pastoral and/or missionary experience. Most are ordained or licensed ministers within the Assemblies of God. Many have had prior teaching experience in other colleges or ministries. The departmental chair has an earned D.Min. (Doctor of Ministry) degree.
Our Elementary Education faculty have experience teaching in the public school system. Some are licensed or ordained ministers of the Assemblies of God. The Elementary Education chair has an earned Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) degree.
The Business Department faculty members have prior experience in Business, Law, military service, or teaching. The Business Department chair had a J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree in Law and held C.P.A. (Certified Public Accountant) licensure in the state of Maryland.
All AIC full-time faculty have at least a masters degree, or its equivalent in their field. Four faculty members (including the Academic Dean) have doctoral degrees, and two others are presently working on their doctorates, and finally one other is near completion of a second masters degree.

Are there opportunities for music ministry and training at
AIC?
Answer: Several classes in music training such as Music Fundamentals,
Music Appreciation, and Leading the Worship Service are offered. The College's
Christian Service outreaches on week-ends, and daily chapel services provide
opportunities for those who are interested in developing their musical talents.
