Ministry activities in the past year?!

assisted the Native American Fellowship (NAF) the last three years with their
National Native Youth Convention, playing a major leadership role in hosting a
conference that just this year drew over 800 Native American young people to our
campus with over 300 decisions for Christ?!
Christian Ministry Graduates:
- Six out of eight (75%) of the 2006 graduates in
Christian Ministry are credentialed ministers and four out of six (67%) of
the 2004 graduates in Christian Ministry are credentialed ministers!
- 2006 ties with 1994 for the highest number of ministry
graduates (six) to be credentialed to the ministry in the College’s
fifty-year history!
- 96% of the Christian Ministry graduates in the past
five years are known to be active in church ministry!
- Since 1991, 34 out of 88 Christian Ministry graduates
(39%) are serving as credentialed ministers!
- James J. Bollinger (BA, 2006) is a licensed minister
serving as the Associate Pastor of Glad Tidings Native Assembly of God in
Omaha, Nebraska
- Michael Johnson (BA, 2006) and Miracle Johnson (BA,
2005) are licensed ministers serving as youth pastors at Chihowa and Chuka
Indian Assembly in Wright City, Oklahoma
- Austin Jones (BA, 2006) is an ordained minister and
nationally appointed US missionary candidate, preparing to serve Alaska
Natives
- Manuel Rivera (BA, 2006) is a licensed minister
serving as an Associate Pastor in the Phoenix area.
- Richard Coker (BA, 2003) is a licensed minister
serving as a pastor on the Navajo reservation in Shonto, Arizona.
Elementary Education:
- 86% of the Elementary Education graduates since the
first graduating class in 1995 have been certified as teachers!
- 92% of the Elementary Education graduates and program
alumni are professionally employed in the field of education since the
program’s inception!
- Crystal (Grass) Donie (BA, 2004) received her M.A. in
Education from Grand Canyon University in 2006 and teaches on the Salt River
Indian Reservation
- Bryan (B.J.) Hall (BA, 1998) received his M.A. in
Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix and teaches in the
Phoenix area. His wife, Elena (Fernandez) Hall (BA, 1998) also teaches in
the Phoenix area. They have two children.
- Gerald Bidtah (BA, 1995) is a principal in New Mexico.
- Jason Bryant (BA, 1997) teaches in Florence, Arizona
and just completed his M.A. in Theological Studies at Fuller Theological
Seminary. He is also an ordained Foursquare minister.
Business:
- Kisha Garcia (A.A., 2006) is working with a hotel as a
licensed massage therapist and is also actively involved in church ministry
at Estrella Mountain View A/G that serves the Gila River Indian Community in
the greater Phoenix area.
- Jonathan Lanuza (A.A., 2005) is serving as a pastoral
staff member at Phoenix Full Gospel Church in Phoenix, Arizona and is
working towards completion of his BA in Christian Ministry.
- Dean Doney (A.A., 2002) is actively involved with
ministry along with his wife Crystal in Mesa, Arizona. Dean is involved in
gospel music recording and promotion.
- Mia Boyd (A.A., 1997) is a music evangelist, worship
leader, and pastor’s wife serving along with her husband, Pastor Allison W.
“J.R.” Boyd (BA, 1997 in Christian Ministry) at Mountain Crow Worship Center
in Pryor, Montana. Pastor Boyd just recently stepped down from having served
for a term on the General Presbytery of the Assemblies of God.
